Good product. Well-made. Good backpack/carrying functionality. Wish the pump handle was a bit longer. (I'm 6'4".) One of the nozzle storage latches already busted off, but overall very pleased that I purchased this product.

Pleased to find this larger diameter coil garden hose. ALL the local hardware stores only carried the small diameter hose which doesn't give enough flow. Hose off roof deck and water plants.

I own the 4 Gal. version of this sprayer, and it is awesome! We live on a 200 acre ranch in South Texas. I use this all over the place! In fact, I keep Round-Up solution in it at all times. I mix up about 3 gal. at a time and never empty the tank because it never needs cleaning and is incapable of clogging. The only time it has ever clogged is when the tip of the nozzle has some dried solution on it. A quick rinse and it is as good as new. Our "yard" around the house is about 9,000 sq. ft. of carpet grass with lots of landscaping and beds. The Chapin lawn & garden sprayer is easy to use, the control features are well placed and allowed me to spray the entire front, side and backyards of my townhouse with speed and accuracy in under 25 minutes. It's way better than the sprayer the people I brought the house from left me. Plus it's inexpensive to boot. If it had a shoulder strap it would be absolutely perfect.

Didn't quite do what I wanted, which was to spread compost around my backyard. I don't think it is the products fault though as it is more suited to smaller, more fine particles like fertilizer and grass seed. I haven't had a chance to use it for those applications yet.

I bought two packages these spray bottles (6 total) for making up green, home-made cleaners (see _Green Up Your Clean-Up_). Typical ingredients for these cleaners include water, borax, vinegar, essential oils, and baking soda. Somehow, these ingredients cause the spring mechanism in the handle to get sticky or even stuck. I'm going to have to replace them all after only about 5 months of use.
I decided to give the spray bottles two stars (instead of one) because as *water* spray bottles, they work very well both for spritzing plants and for ironing. They have a very fine spray and don't leak.
