This is a great tool for BBQing. You can watch the temp of two different kinds of meat at the same time. Very acurate and easy to use. Our food came out so tender and not charred, and we were inside watching TV!

It's a good product, but it cook faster than the info tells you to and you do need a propane tank.

I received this as a gift in late 2007. This product is a great concept, as I've been able to use it in a variety of applications: grilling, baking/roasting, and an outdoor smoker.
Unfortunately, it stopped working after 4 uses. The temperature reading would be way off, like 178 degrees at room temperature, 59 degrees for an ice slurry (chipped ice/water; used to determine accuracy), etc. The Oregon Scientific website was difficult to navigate and find information about the product, but once I found information it recommended replacing the probe. This thing works exactly as advertised and deserves all the positive reviews it got. I don't know how I lived without this for so long. This starter is simply fantastic! I used this for the first time today to start a BBQ and was astounded by how easy and fast this thing is.
No more lighter fluid, fanning, piling coals into a pyramid, and other nonsense. Just stuff some paper in the bottom, light, and come back 5 mins later. Your coals will be glowing red. Very nice construction quality and durable build. And not a bad price too. Highly recommended. >>More Details |

The cover works fine. It's a grill cover, so there's not a whole lot of innovation to be had. I however live in an area with wind storms, so I woke up one morning after a storm to find my grill naked, the cover nowhere to be found. I imagine it's somewhere in the Puget sound wedged in an Orca's blowhole. Some simple elastic on the bottom or grommet holes for bungees would have saved a whale.

I've had the BabyQ for just under two years. Regulator quit working. Called Weber Customer Service after recorded message played I waited about 12 seconds and a real LIVE person was on the line with me and she spoke ENGLISH! Replacement was sent and was received within 7 days.
How come some companies get 'customer service' and others don't have a clue? Buy Weber, you can't go wrong. >>More Details |

This little gem rolls around patio/deck easily and is sturdy enough for the Baby Q and a large propane bottle. It also holds bbq tools on its pegs. I'm very glad I ordered the cart with the Baby Q.

I love chimney starters. No need to store chemical lighter fluid and no taste of the chemicals on your food. We used to have to sit there and babysit the charcoal making sure it was lit with fluid, and now we just light the paper and walk away. It lights by itself 99% of the time. It might be a large item to store but under the grill it's perfect. No fear of chemicals you are ingesting and a strong burning and even burning pile of coals at the end. Well worth the money.
