I bought this yesterday on a Gold Box half price sale and WOW what a deal!Then it arrived today via FS USPS!! I currently own The Weather Channel La Crosse WS-9055TWC and La Crosse Technology WS-9611U and still use and enjoy both of them, particularly the latter since it has the cute clothing icon. This attractive big boy really outshines both in design and features (okay, this one does retail for 2-3 times their price point in all fairness). This is a great weather station that has real metal wings although the body is metal colored plastic the same as the other two are made. It can be hung or sit on your desk. I like this charger because you can just stick any combination of batteries in, and walk away. Or, you can check any parameter, on each of the four slots. Or, you can program for 'refresh' which will bring many old batteries back to a useful life, or 'test' which tells you the capacity of the cell being tested. This unit brought back to life some AA batteries I had bought a year ago with a cheapo charger, that would no longer operate my camera. It's a smart charger that will take care of your batteries.

I bought this because it seemed like a cool idea. However I noticed that the temp readings are depressingly inaccurate, ESPECIALLY the outdoor temp. I have access to very expensive equipment at work that reads temperatures and this was off by about 4-5 degrees for the indoor temp and about 10-12 degrees for outdoor temp. Man I would be embarassed to release a product that performed so poorly at the job it was supposed to do. It's cool in concept and wouldn't be a bad idea if you don't care about the useless temp readings.

I am very satisfied with this item. I like its great look (matches with my room decor), performance, accuracy of data and particularly instant (continuous) data transfer from the outdoor Swiss made precision sensor that came with the weather station. The forecast icon (Sunny, Cloudy and rainy) based on changing barometric pressure provides a good visual indication of expected weather. Along with above it has a good digital clock showing atomic time and date with provision for manual setting plus alarm function. I would highly recommend this item to others for home or office use.

Great product. We enjoy having the time and temp alternately flash onto bedroom ceiling, so we don't have to roll over and look at the clock in the middle of the night.

Easy to set up. Did not work consistantly wireless but was easy to hard wire. Now works fine. It seems to be pretty accurate. [..] it uploads fine.

Works fine and arrived quickly. The only disappointment was there's no way to illuminate display at night (but I haven't checked with manufacturer yet). Remote sensor works fine in our challenging situation.

This is a functional atomic clock. It is a little small, but the projection feature is interesting. Back-light is good for checking the time in the dark. This clock did not switch to daylight-savings on its own, had to adjust manually. We have not tried the outdoor temperature feature yet.

At first I thought it might be defective. So I read the instructions :) My only beef is that the range of sensor seems considerably smaller than it's supposed to be. When I moved it about 50' from the base, the signal was unreliable.

I got this primarily to track the humidity levels in my home. The price was good enough that I could order three comfort meters, and so far they have worked fine for what I wanted.
