I bought the game, thinking the content would be very similar to what is already out there, just in a new area. I was a bit right, but there are a ton of interesting and fun quests. Bombing quests, quests where you become a bird, a robot, etc. It's not just "kill x amount of y" anymore, though that is sprinkled in there as well!
Having 2 starting areas is great. I went to one, it seemed very crowded, so I went to the other for a bit.
Death knights? They are fun. They have a separate beginning area and quest line. Can you skip these quests? I guess so, but you actually earn your talent points via questing until you leave the area. Much of game for this part is more like an instance, with those players on the ... Read More:

This is an awesome product. It is easily backward compatible with previous versions of Office. It is much more user friendly and much easier to personalize buttons and toolbars to how one person uses word. I highly recommend it.

I own an aluminum 24" iMac (3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM) and a Black Macbook (2.4 GHz Intel, 4GB RAM) and I naively thought Microsoft Office 2008 for the Mac would be "equivalent" to the Windows/PC version and was I ever so surprised. Being a Windows-based MS Office user for decades, I thought that the Mac version would closely mirror the Windows edition. Hmmm...not so much. The basic functionality of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Entourage (a PIM which I don't use) is there, but this version does not seem as full-featured or as stable as the Windows version. It's a mild adjustment - the ribbon from Office 2007 is not there and most commands are located in drop down menus - which is not the sleekest method, but functional nonetheless. Another ... Quickbooks 2009 still fails miserably when it comes to interoperability with past versions. Also, the multiple ways to save, share, or backup a file are a throwback to software ala 1990. A related issue is that these files are probably much larger than they need to be. Furthermore, the software is always trying to impose Web access on the user, often for marketing purposes. Moreover, I tried the online banking feature, but my bank apparently was not ready for 2009. In my opinion, this product still does not meet modern standards for software quality. I wish there was a widely-used alternative.

My husband & kids were looking forward to getting Spore as a Christmas present. Unfortunately due to the invasive nature of the latest SecuROM we won't be buying. I see no point in being required to connect to the internet to play a computer game that isn't played online, besides the kids gaming computer is not connected to the internet.
I'm not at all happy that EA continues to force this DRM on us when according to articles, it hasn't done much to stop the software pirates. All it does is punish the paying customer. So I'll find my family a game that isn't so draconian with it's copyright protection software. The same goes for Sims 3. I've been a long time Sims fan, but if it has this garbage on it I'm not touching it.

I had quit using Norton for the last few of years. I needed a new Internet Security Suite and Norton 2009 was rated at or near the top of all the ratings I checked. Norton did especially well with independent lab tests. (There are so many companies trying to look independent, so it takes some effort to find truly independent tests.)
Norton found a "Trojan" my old Suite did Not find (Kaspersky). It also Scans much faster.

I am not buying any games with SecuRom. Why pay $50 for a game with limited install? If EA is selling installs for a game, then it is fair for me to just pay for one install for $5.

I am probably the furthest thing from a computer genius. I have had no experience with any of the PSE versions so I am starting fresh with PSE7. I have to say that I really do love it and have already created quite a few things using it. So far I am very pleased. If you have the previous version then you are probably ok. If you are new to PSE then I highly recommend it. I gave it only 4 stars because I find the "help" function to not be as good as it should be. But, I have taught myself just by playing around for a while. Oh, and I have Vista and do not find the program slow at all.
