I bought the game, thinking the content would be very similar to what is already out there, just in a new area. I was a bit right, but there are a ton of interesting and fun quests. Bombing quests, quests where you become a bird, a robot, etc. It's not just "kill x amount of y" anymore, though that is sprinkled in there as well!
Having 2 starting areas is great. I went to one, it seemed very crowded, so I went to the other for a bit. Death knights? They are fun. They have a separate beginning area and quest line. Can you skip these quests? I guess so, but you actually earn your talent points via questing until you leave the area. Now i love The elder scrolls series but this game is just awful,It felt like i was playing Oblivion but The game and quests are buggy,i was always having to save for fear of losing my spot in game.And i wanted to buy this game cause of the great work on elder scrolls but if you want to play a game with zombies and no crashes or bugs try Left 4 Dead maybe cause i wish i had bought that game then this one.The only good thing about this game was the voice acting of Liam Neeson,Malcolm McDowell

My husband & kids were looking forward to getting Spore as a Christmas present. Unfortunately due to the invasive nature of the latest SecuROM we won't be buying. I see no point in being required to connect to the internet to play a computer game that isn't played online, besides the kids gaming computer is not connected to the internet.
I'm not at all happy that EA continues to force this DRM on us when according to articles, it hasn't done much to stop the software pirates. All it does is punish the paying customer. So I'll find my family a game that isn't so draconian with it's copyright protection software. The same goes for Sims 3. I've been a long time Sims fan, but if it has this garbage on it I'm not touching it. >>More Details |

I am not buying any games with SecuRom. Why pay $50 for a game with limited install? If EA is selling installs for a game, then it is fair for me to just pay for one install for $5.

I don't know if I wasn't paying attention, or was just not informed. But this program doesn't work with macs even though it was used on the old apple2GS which is just a super old version of a mac. Don't get this if you have a mac!

The Haunting of Castle Malloy is another well thought out programmed PC Game! I have never been disappointed with any of the Nancy Drew Series and this one is no exception. Again it educates in a most poignant way about the area or location of the world you are at. I literally had to search the internet to learn how to play and score in darts! And now I know how to play darts. I became quite the "Mixer" when I had to serve at the Irish Pub. Some parts are a wee bit tricky lass, like once you program the jet pack. If you are not in the location the game somehow needs you to be at you will explode and die but come back to life often.lol Also when you are jet packing about I thought I could fly up into the heavens...not so I lost fuel and had to be given another ... If you play the game regularly, sure it's convenient to sign up with the bliz plans. But, why pay the tax bliz charges when you can pay the same rate (or better, if you normally go shorter plans) by getting this from Amazon? Always makes a great gift, and never spoils in the mail.
Plus, with the recent release of the expansion (Wrath of the Lich King), your gamer may need a few of these. >>More Details |
