This software was easy to install, but it did not work well on our Vista Windows. We had enough memory and large hard drive with enough free space. But our computer kept freezing and locking up and the performance was very poor after installing this product. When we decided to uninstall it after only a week, using the uninstall tool, it took a vital Windows OS file and made our OS crash and we had to start over from the beginning and reformat our hard drive and reload all our software. I do not recommend this software at all.

This program is a great way to learn a language. The method of using pictures with the text helps you make associations and learn much faster and easier than just memorizing words. You do need to be self motivated but I found myself looking forward to the lessons. The program will automatically recommend to repeat a lesson if you make too many errors. I love that you can have up to 5 users so others can learn along with you and that makes it a good value for households that have several members who would like to learn the language. I think it would also be a great family activity and learning with others would be great for motivation and practice. The audio companion CDs are a big help to reinforce and practice what you have learned.

The stuff packs always have exciting new items to help upgrade and diversify.
The new pjs, bathrobes, etc were a nice touch. The bathroom fixtures are more realistic to what I've actually seen around. Plus, it's nice being able to create different looks for each Sim family. All in all it's just okay. Sometimes the view of the table is completely obscured by the lamp in the game. Also some of the functions on a few of the games from 2008 have been removed (such as being able to review previous hands in a bridge game).

This is a good mapping program but one has to remember if you are buying this you are purchasing it for a secondary use to your field GPS. Meaning if you want a GPS for your car look at the Garmin Nuvis. It does exactly what it is designed to do. Good product!

I bought the CH Yoke and Rudder pedals for use with Microsoft Flight Sim 2006. Its great for instrument flying training. They were easy to setup and calibrate. Unfortunately I had to buy them from another store because Amazon does not offer these to buyers who reside in Australia, but that's ok its there loss.
I'd recommend these to those people who want to understand flight or are serious about learning to fly aircraft. Simulator training at home is excellent. I would buy both the Yoke and the Rudder Pedals together and not just the Yoke separately. >>More Details |

The installation of Adobe Acrobot Pro 9 Trial Version took so long that I sadly decided to cancel the installation half way through. It was almost like installing a new Windows! I decided it's better to stick to the good old CutePDF Writer for now which is by the way free and less than 2MB in size (not 326MB). I use a WindowsXP with 2GB of ram and a 3.4GHz Intel Pentium4 processor.
