Warcraft 3 is the best. I've been playing it forever and I lost my copy, so I bought the Battle Chest instead. I didn't realize it came with a players guide, so that was cool. DOTA RULEZ

A sophisticated and complex sequel to The Sims, The Sims 2 is pretty to boot. I think that my favorite aspect of this game is the new levels of complexity in the sims. They have hopes and dreams as well as fears. Another noteworthy feature is the life cycle -- sims age, now. No more perpetual children or adults who live forever.
If you enjoyed The Sims, you'll definitely love The Sims 2. If you've never played The Sims before, now is the time to start.

Alas many service packs later and bugs ironed out, Microsoft moves on to another money-maker as Windows XP was finally becoming a very reliable operating system. Vista does have many nice new features, especially designed for the net administrator wannabe or average Joe who wants to try to setup a mini network in his basement. I am by no means an expert on the subject, as I am the type of person who knows computers just enough to be dangerous. That said, I do have some thoughts on this operating system I hope will be helpful.
First off, I see Vista as XP with some bling. Unfortunately there's a price. Its called compatibility. Be careful if you are a PC gamer and wish to still play your older games (this meaning a game from a year ... Read More:

Civ IV is another great Civ game from the mind of one of greatest game designers of all time. Civ IV presents the Civilization game with such polish and solid gameplay that it will be very interesting to see where Sid Meier's takes the franchise from here.
The graphics aren't the greatest but that's not why you play a Civ game. The mechanics are where this game truly shines. You can conquer by force or by diplomacy and you can be hands-off or you can micro-manage almost every aspect of your cities and territories. The choice is yours.
The scenarios and maps will provide hours upon hours of strategy fun and you will find yourself saying "just one more turn" at 3 a.m. before you know it.
If you like strategy games and you do not own Civ IV, ... Read More:

I got my pedals few weeks ago and have been using them almost on a dayly basis. The design is sturdy and although I have not "forced the issue", I feel confident that the pedals would hadle any kind of abuse. Installation was easy and a perfect fit with the rest of my CH flight controls.
The only problem that I have with the design is that the pedals are too close together. Sure they are perfect for a GA cockpit simulation, but when I tried to build my own cockpit with the joystick between my legs it was a problem.
Regardless, I am happy I got them and now I cannot 'fly' without them... :)

I buy nearly all my games from Amazon (along with everything else mind you), so this review is no reflection on Amazon. Amazon has always treated me well. I've been invited to review products before by Amazon, but this is the first time I feel compelled to do so. With that said, all I can say about this game is "WEAK". Very "WEAK". I've purchased about every shooter out there (mostly from Amazon) , and I really expected more out of this. COD World at War is so scripted, so linear, and so predictable it is a shame. How do you totally screw up the weapons sounds this bad? How do you do it? This game is so linear it makes PacMan look like Far Cry (Far Cry fans will know what I am talking about). And as mentioned before by other reviewers, the flask is phony as well. ... Read More:

Graphics were out of date when the game was released. It is more like 1980 game graphics, instead of anything even closely resembling 1990 quality graphics. And that is where I have an issue with the game and the series. Your basically using "stick figure" characters, who resemble just what I said = stick figures. They do not even resemble characters. The Ultima PC games that came out in the 1980s had better looking characters then this game does for a game released in 1998 or 1999.
I don't mind playing a 1990 to 1998 role playing game, and having worst graphics. Since for a RPG, you don't focus on graphics. But I do mind playing a 1980s graphics game, and that is what you are buying when you buy Baldur's Gate. And worst yet, its not even ... Read More:

As has been noted by others, the installation is awful. I can't believe that I was required to open an account online just to install and play the game. I guess I will have to be more careful and review games in the future to make sure I do not purchase games controlled by Steam or any other third party vendor.
I would have no issue if Steam was voluntary, but this was not voluntary. It made my install take 30 minutes because I couldn't understand why my install placed Steam on the hard drive and not Portal. I uninstalled and re-installed the software, but instead of getting Portal, Steam was installed again. Eventually I realized I had to do a second re-install after Steam was installed to get Portal on, but not until the software directed me to setup an online ... Read More:
