I have just started using this software and find it very helpful and with more options than "Picture It" which I have used for sometime. I still use Picture It for JPEG and Capture for my Nikon RAW images. I do not use layering so don't need the mre expensive PhotoShop 7 software. As I get more adept maybe I will branch out into additional software, but for now I am happy with Capture NX2.I use the D-80 camera.

This Program is pretty good It loaded quickly and easily. I only needed it for iWeb and iPhoto, but iMovie Sucks you should wait until they fix that one.

This program is very intuitive and will not take that long to get use to. It has many features which are very handy especially in the area of document creation and inserting images and especially in the ease of formatting each document. It seems like it takes 3 less steps to achieve things with iWorks than it does with Office. However, Pages is the one program that I think is better than Word, Numbers and Keynote have great integration with pages, but still are not as good as Excel or Powerpoint.

As has been noted by others, the installation is awful. I can't believe that I was required to open an account online just to install and play the game. I guess I will have to be more careful and review games in the future to make sure I do not purchase games controlled by Steam or any other third party vendor.
I would have no issue if Steam was voluntary, but this was not voluntary. It made my install take 30 minutes because I couldn't understand why my install placed Steam on the hard drive and not Portal. I uninstalled and re-installed the software, but instead of getting Portal, Steam was installed again. Eventually I realized I had to do a second re-install after Steam was installed to get Portal on, but not until the software directed me to ... Read More:

This is a good mapping program but one has to remember if you are buying this you are purchasing it for a secondary use to your field GPS. Meaning if you want a GPS for your car look at the Garmin Nuvis. It does exactly what it is designed to do. Good product!

There's a trend rooted in graphic technology these days. It seems that people are willing to let their imaginations run wild and turn that into a visual. Sounds good but I've found this method usually distracts from the essense of what a good product is. The biggest examples of this I can immediately cite are the newer Star Wars movies and the Indiana Jones Crystal Skull episode. In both cases the essense is drowned beneath interesting visuals. I feel that way about Civ IV.
I began my interest in the Civ series back at Civ II. Like most I was drawn into many hours of play often of the expense of my mental alertness the next morning. But which is more important: studying to pass some measly English exam or preparing a decent strategy to finally stick it ... Read More:

Traveller's Tales returns with another Lego-based game, this time focusing on the Indiana Jones franchise after conquering the world of Star Wars. Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is exactly what the title implies: the original Indy trilogy in Lego form. It should be noted right now that if you've played any of the Lego Star Wars games, you'll feel right at home here. The gameplay itself is relatively simple, family friendly fun that nearly anyone can pick up and play. Co-op mode is where the real fun of Lego Indiana Jones is to be had though, and like Lego Star Wars before it, the game just has a sense of undeniable charm to it that you can't help but get some enjoyment in the very least out of it. It may not take you too long to breeze through the game though, ... Read More:

I've had Parallels 3.0 for about a year now. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.
Not only does running my Win XP virtual machine constantly crash my MacBook Pro (I have to do a hard reboot), but I also frequently get out of virtual memory Monitor PE error messages. I have 4GB of RAM!!!! I have to reboot my MacBook and restart Parallels to get it going again. I emailed Parallels' tech support when I first got the product and NEVER heard back from them. Finally, various manufacturers' drivers CD auto installers will not run in Parallels. I had to manually load printer drivers, etc.
I got so sick and tired of Paralles crashing that I finally tried VMWare Fusion 2 for the past couple of weeks and so far, so good. I've been able to use CDs' auto ... Read More:
