Just be aware this product contains some security software called SecuROM.
The game ran on my system exactly once before the SecuROM software shut it down. The SecuROM software would insist I had loaded a backup or a copy and would not allow the game to run. Ea customer support blamed everything from my video driver to dust on the disk. I still haven't gotten the game to run again. I liked the game very much the one time I got to play it.

I purchased this upgrade to version 4 in hopes of improving the performance of version 3. I had found version 3 to be buggy and memory hungry, so I had abandoned it in favor of VMWare Fusion when I purchased another Mac. When I saw this Parallels upgrade, I thought I'd give it another try on the older Mac. After installing, I tried to install the add-on Parallels Tools repeatedly, but the installation would nearly complete, then automatically rollback and uninstall, prompting me to restart and try again. After numerous attempts and a support request to Parallels with no success, I'm still stuck with an upgrade I can't fully evaluate. I'm also prompted repeatedly by Windows 'detected new device' messages each time I restart. I've been much more ... Read More:

I had trouble at first in installing this product. With help from my son who is in the computer business we were able to complete the installation. For the price, this appears to be adequate for my home computer. If there is only one user to a computer, it is fine, if not, it would be advisable to select another Norton product.

Quicken Home and Business 2009 is really loaded with bugs. After installation it tells you to get the upgrade to R2, which will hang permanently while it looks for MS Outlook. Quicken support told me to uninstall and then refuse the upgrade. The online banking is so bad I uninstalled ... Read More:

I use a Canon HG10 which only records in HD using the AVCHD standard. The SW that came doesn't come close to allowing you to do much editing/DVD making. With this camera it is easy to copy the video files from HG10 to my computers HD then I begin using the editing tool.
I compared this to several others you can find on the net: Ulead, Pinnacle, cyberlink and maybe a few others. I can tell you, without a doubt the Sony SW is so much faster. That means I don't need a super powerful computer to do all the editing and making of a DVD. It also doesn't crash like many of the competitor editors. Cost is roughly the same and you have a 30 day trial period. One disadvantage is this SW is a bit more difficult to use--maybe it just has a higher learning curve. Overall I'm ... Read More:

This is a very fun sequel to Crysis. While not a normal sequel, this is a parallel adventure. This game is graphic intensive and the Multi-Player is identical to the original Multi-Player.

Works perfectly on my 2008 iMac at a fairly high resolution. The game is super fun in single player, and especially fun on multiplayer. If you want a first person shooter game for your iMac, this one is a must-have.

The game is fun so far. One thing to keep in mind if you have never played a C&C game is the game is campy. It does not take itself serious at all, so get this game and laugh at how silly the story and units are in the game.
There is a slight learning curve when you first play the game, but the tutorial should take care of that. The graphics are good, and so is the sound.
The premiere edition comes with extra maps you can download, as well as a hat you can use in Warhammer Online to turn into a bear.

This is a welcome addition to the Sims 2 universe! This expansion creates a new "age" range the young adult. There is so much to do with this expansion, but the basic idea is that you and your Sims you created (or selected from a group of already created Sims) attend one of three universities. From there you can select your major, change your major and get on the Deans list. Attending classes means homework and you will also have to bring up certain attributes (Cleaning, Charisma, Cooking, etc) to continue through your four years of college. Join a society, either a frat of a sorority by becoming a Pledge and earning friends for life. You will reside in either a private home on campus (this lets you get married and have kids while attending college) or you will reside in one of the resident's halls ... Read More:
