My boys, ages 5 and 6, desperately wanted this game. We have Nerf Wars at home all the time, and they were originally thinking you shot nerf darts at the tv as part of the game. Anyway, we purchased the game, and they have played it for quite some time. The first thing I noticed is you can not purchase the game without purchasing the kit that includes the "gun" which holds the wii remote. It would have been more economical to have had the choice to leave it out, as the gun makes no difference to the game. Secondly, if you wanted a second gun (we have two young boys!) there wasn't one available to buy. As for the gameplay, there are boy friendly graphics and sounds. You unlock Nerf weapons along the way as you score points. The boys like seeing what ... Read More:

I bought this game for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday. After I gave it to her I didn't see her for quite awhile. She is still heavily playing it after several days. Her 11 year old sister likes it too. The pets are adorable like the toys and the animation is wonderful. You unlock pets and mini games and items as you go along through the game. This game has a lot of variety. My daughter enjoys the coloring game. You play the games and get awarded ribbons and kibbles as points. There seem to be quite a few games to keep the kids interested. You can name the pets as you unlock them and try to collect them all. New locations are unlocked too. I would recommend this no fighting, non violent kids game, especially if your kids are or were into the ... Read More:

The graphics aren't so good and it is hard to attack with your stylus, and the adventure isn't so entertaining.I recommend you rent it at a local Blockbuster and try it out like I did and if you like it then buy it.

This game is alot of fun. I'm a mom of 5 girls ages 12-8 and they all enjoy playing this. Boggle is a great game for kids to play, challenging and fun while learning! Battleship is also alot of fun. Graphics could be a tad better instead of having Mr Potato head around all the time they could have did something else but all in all this is a great game with many options. No exercise involved though : )

the dual controller action is more fun than the standard/normal control pad. gives you a whole new experience. take a little time to get used to it. but, once you're used to it, it's a lot more fun.

My husband & kids were looking forward to getting Spore as a Christmas present. Unfortunately due to the invasive nature of the latest SecuROM we won't be buying. I see no point in being required to connect to the internet to play a computer game that isn't played online, besides the kids gaming computer is not connected to the internet.
I'm not at all happy that EA continues to force this DRM on us when according to articles, it hasn't done much to stop the software pirates. All it does is punish the paying customer. So I'll find my family a game that isn't so draconian with it's copyright protection software. The same goes for Sims 3. I've been a long time Sims fan, but if it has this garbage on it I'm not touching it.

My daughters 5 and 7 totally freaked over this game. Finally, a fun girl game for the wii. You get to collect pets, earn 4 different "zones" to play in, tons of mini games, and dress up galore.
If you are looking for a gift for girls age 5 - 8 this is a no brainer. My five year old would have played this 24 hours a day if I would have let her.
My only complaint, the game is easy to "finish". It took my five year old only a week to get all the pets, all the areas and most of the items. However, the game can be picked up again for the mini games and change of outfits.

I've been a fan of the sims since the very first one. When it came to the wii I was elated. Although this game differs from the usual sims style, it is still tons of fun to play. I agree with the other reviewers as far as loading goes, huge improvement.

I am not buying any games with SecuRom. Why pay $50 for a game with limited install? If EA is selling installs for a game, then it is fair for me to just pay for one install for $5.
